Now the fun really begins! The Island offers a variety of enjoyable activities for you and your little one. In the early days, these classes and groups provide a wonderful opportunity to leave the house, connect with other mums, build confidence being out of the house, and bond with your baby.

Manx Care runs a drop in session called, Breastfeeding Buddies, at St John’s Ambulance on Thursday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am to chat with the Infant Feeding Team and get your baby weighed. Despite the name, all mums are welcome, not just those who are breastfeeding.

In addition to the activities and services listed below check out your local area for mums and tots groups. The local swimming pools also offer baby swimming lessons.

Aromababymassage

 Five week baby massage courses which are entirely baby-led, in small groups teaching an amazing take away massage skill, that grows with your child. 

 

A specific colic/gas routine is taught and massage helps promote sleep and numerous other benefits.

An ideal first class to attend with your baby and to meet other likeminded people. Michelle is Douglas based (IAIM certified) and has 12 years experience.

Mumfit

MumFit, Be Free PhysioFit offers full post-natal checks which cover assessment of ab separation, treatment as well as an exercise plan.

We also offer physio-led MumFit classes twice weekly which are a great way to strengthen the pelvic floor, improve posture and boost endorphins.

Baby Neuro is a multi-sensory physical development and music programme fully linked to the EYFS especially designed for babies from birth to when they just begin to toddle. 

Giving opportunities for communication between adults and babies, and between one baby and another, with plenty of time for physical development. Baby Neuro shows you how to provide a sensory massage, sensory activities, development activities, songs, plenty of ideas for communication, lots of tummy time and use of the Award Winning Baby Neuro Gym that helps support your baby's physical development.

Total Wellbeing offers movement classes & massage services to ladies on the Isle of Man.  Pregnancy, post-natal, core & pelvic floor rehab, c-section recovery & so much more.

Manx Slings

Manx Slings is a free, informal gathering for people who are interested in carrying their child in a baby carrier or sling. They also have a range of carriers in their library that you can borrow for a small fee and trial in your normal circumstances.

Singings Jos

Singing Jos is a fun music focused class. There is no need to book, just turn up at any of our sessions there will always be space. Our sessions are funded by sponsorship and donations from those taking part, but nobody is ever turned away even if they can’t afford a contribution. If you would like to make a donation, we suggest £3 but it’s entirely up to you.

Baby Sensory runs eight sessions a week on the Isle of Man, Baby Sensory offers an exciting, fun-filled programme of learning and development for babies from birth to 13 months.

Simply Sleep

Simply Sleep offers a Sleep Transformation Plan that is suitable for parents of children aged 4 months to 8 years who may be struggling to settle to sleep, stay asleep throughout the night and early in the morning, or who do not nap well throughout the day.
